Meet The Bands Who’ve Stuck Together After All These Years
Some bands had to fold in heartbreaking fashion. Led Zeppelin and Nirvana had to stop the moment John Bonham and Kurt Cobain died. Not only that, but Canadian rock icons Rush had to pack it in simply because they were getting too old. Sonic Youth called it quits in 2011, and they’re one of the most important indie rock bands ever.
So, what about the bands who are still around? You know, the bands with no lineup changes or major hiatuses- sorry blink-182. There are a surprising amount of iconic bands still kicking it, including the band who revived the garage rock movement.

Status Quo play a style of boogie rock. The band was founded by Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster when they were in school in 1962. They went through numerous lineup/name changes before settling on the name they stuck with.
The group has over 60 chart hits in the UK, which is more than any other rock band.
