In 2007, Kate McKinnon joined the cast of The Big Gay Sketch Show. She first appeared on Saturday Night Live in 2012. She is best known for her character work and celebrity impressions. While on the show, she has done impressions of Ellen DeGeneres, Justin Beiber, Shakira, and Hillary Clinton, among others.
In 2016, she starred in an all-female reboot of Ghostbusters alongside her SNL costars, Kristen Wiig and Leslie Jones. She has also voiced several animated characters including Stan’s wife in Finding Dory, Lupe in Ferdinand, and Stella in The Angry Birds Movie.
