Another comedian who is known for her voice work, Maria Bamford is maybe the funniest person alive. Stephen Colbert has called her his “favorite comedian on planet Earth.” Her zany style can be polarizing— either you love her, or you don’t— but she’s been achieving some more mainstream success these days.

Her stand up specials have been popular on Netflix, and in 2016, Netflix announced a multi-episode series starring Bamford called, Lady Dynamite. Although Bamford didn’t write any of the episodes, she was involved in the writing process, and the series is based on her life. Read on for one half of a musical comedy duo who always makes us smile.
