Kristen Schaal is best known for playing Mel on Flight of the Concords and Carol Pilbasian on The Last Man on Earth. You can also hear her distinctive voice on shows like Bob’s Burgers, Gravity Falls, and Freak Show. She provides several voices for the Netflix animated series Bojack Horseman and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Character Voice-Over for her performance as Sarah Lynn.

In 2010, Schaal and her husband, Daily Show writer Rich Blomquist, published a book called, The Sexy Book of Sexy Sex.
