In 2008, Iliza Shlesinger won NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Her first comedy album and video, War Paint, was released on Netflix in 2013. It features Shlesinger’s unique take on femininity, dating, and human relationships. She’s since released two more stand-up specials with Netflix, Freezing Hot, and Confirmed Kills.

In 2017, Iliza published a book that’s very much in line with her brand titled, Girl Logic: The Genius and the Absurdity, in which she expands on some of her feminist material with essays on friendship, singlehood, and relationships. She also has a dog named Blanche who makes regular stage appearances and is the actual cutest.
