Kate Berlant is an actor, stand-up comedian, and writer who The New York Times called a surreal and experimental “magnetic improvisational comic. In 2014, she was named a New Face at the Montreal Comedy Festival, and TimeOut LA listed her as a Comic to Watch in 2015.

She voices several characters on HBO’s Animals as well as Netflix’s Bojack Horseman, and she wrote, produced, and starred in an episode of Netflix’s original series The Characters. Kate Berlant often works with her friend and fellow comedian, John Early. The two of them wrote a Vimeo series together called 555 that premiered in 2017.
