During the shooting of Felicity, for some unknown reason, Scott Speedman would run a lap around the stage anytime he had a scene. During the final season, seventeen episodes were ordered. The last episode was supposed to end with Felicity’s long awaited graduated from the fictional University of New York.

Producers were surprised to find out that there were an additional five episodes ordered and with all of the extra time to fill they decided to flash forward into the future. One of the scenarios that were shot showed the viewers a glimpse of what Felicity’s life would look life had she picked Noel over Ben.
