When you peel away the things that make Peter Pan so intriguing, like his ability to fly, his leadership abilities, and the fact that he crosses swords with pirates, he’s a jerk. He likes attention too much and hardly ever lets anyone finish their sentences before he starts talking. He’s also a womanizer as he jumps between Tiger Lilly, the mermaids, Wendy, and Tinkerbell, making them all jealous of one another all for his pleasure.

He’s also proven to be cruel the way he enjoys tormenting Captain Hook even after he fed his hand to the crocodile for no good reason. Finally, at his core, Peter is immature and refuses to grow up. He would rather stay in Neverland than ever face the responsibilities of being an adult, which isn’t somebody kids should admire.
