Robert Redford is a famous American actor, director, producer, businessman, environmentalist, and philanthropist. You probably remember him for Neil Simon’s Barefoot in the Park, but he also founded the Sundance Film Festival and starred in numerous other films over the years. He even starred alongside Mia Farrow in The Great Gatsby. He also appeared in the blockbuster success, Jeremiah Johnson, The Sting, and All the President’s Men. He directed critically acclaimed films like Ordinary People and A River Runs Through It. Time magazine recognized him as one of the “Top Most Influential People in the World,” and he was also called “Godfather of Indie Film.” President Barack Obama awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016.
