Paula Prentiss started to gain a buzz for being a comedic actress, with roles in The Stepford Wives, Crazy Joe, and No Room to Run. The combo of her talent and good looks meant that she was chosen to play a number of roles on TV and in films. Her first comedic roles included: Where the Boys Are, The Honeymoon Machine, Bachelor in Paradise, and The Horizontal Lieutenant.
