Burt Reynolds is an American actor, director, producer, and yes, also a former football player. After being discovered, reading William Shakespeare in class, he starting acting as summer stock. He didn’t initially see it as a career, but he went onto appear in movies like Deliverance, The Longest Yard, Smokey and the Bandit, and Boogie Nights.
