Faye Dunaway Becomes The Infamous Bonnie
The Bonnie and Clyde star actress is now well past the 70 mark, but that doesn’t stop Faye Dunaway. She’s won nearly all the awards, including an Academy Award, three Golden Globes, a BAFTA, and an Emmy. She was even the first recipient of a Leopard Club Award. She’s appeared in countless films, including The Thomas Crown Affair (1968), the drama The Arrangement (1969), Little Big Man (1970), The Three Musketeers (1973), and Chinatown (1974). She also took to the stage with A Man for All Seasons (1961–63), After the Fall (1964), Hogan’s Goat (1965–67), and A Streetcar Named Desire (1973). Still, through it all, her role as Bonnie touched her to the core and first made her a star: “Never have I felt so close to a character as I felt to Bonnie. She was a yearning, edgy, ambitious southern girl who wanted to get out of wherever she was.”
