Michael Caine

His official title is: Sir Maurice Joseph Micklewhite Jr. CBE. You probably know him by his professional name of Michael Caine or for the role he played as Batman’s butler. Of course, he was famous well before that, with appearances in more than 115 films. He earned his first Academy Award in 1986 for Woody Allen’s Hannah and Her Sisters, and he’s one of the mostly widely respected male actors in the film industry. He has taken on the roles of everything from Ebenezer Scrooge in The Muppet Christmas Show to his controversial, but Academy award-winning, role of Dr. Wilbur Larch in The Cider House Rules, based on John Irving’s novel. He says, “I’ve never fell out of love with acting, because I watch everybody.”
