Charles Grodin’s lead role in The Heartbreak Kid first earned him notoriety as a comic actor back in 1972, but he’s become an author and even “retired” as an actor to become a TV talk-show host since then. His range of comic lead and supporting roles have also earned him the American Comedy Award for Funniest Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for Dave, and Best Actor at the 1988 Valladolid International Film Festival for Midnight Run.

After his talk show on CNBC and his role as political commentator for 60 Minutes II, he has also written and appeared in several autobiographical works. So, he’s not quite done with acting yet. Who knows where you’ll see him next. He’s still funny!
