Due to contract disputes, Sherman-Palladino and her husband weren’t a part of the final season of “Gilmore Girls”. As a result, various plot points, such as Lorelai’s marriage to Christopher, Richard’s health scare and Rory’s tumultuous relationship with Logan were out of her control. Sherman-Palladino refused to watch the seventh series, instead, asking friends to fill her in on details so she could plan the revival.
