Kelly Bishop, who played Emily Gilmore for all seven seasons, teased about the quality of the writing as well as the return of Liza Weil, who played Paris Gellar on the series. Bishop has said the “scripts are good. They’re really good,” and specifically about Weil, “Paris is a hoot. It’s unbelievable what Amy has written for Paris.”
