In 2011, Ted Williams gained national media attention when an interview of him went viral on YouTube during a time in his life when he was homeless. He had an incredible radio voice which used to be his profession until he developed a drug and alcohol addiction.

After the video, it wasn’t long before he was offered numerous job positions both for his talents, as well as an effort to help him get off of the streets. Williams went on to accept a $300,000 book deal co-authoring the book A Golden Voice: How Faith, Hard Work, and Humanity Brought Me from the Streets to Salvation.
