In 2002, our favorite California surfer grom Micah Peasley gave the world his unforgettable description of how “pitted” he got during an apparently legendary hurricane surf session.

With his enthusiastic sound effects, surfer-demeanor, and lust for life, it is no wonder this video became the most viral surf video ever. The question behind the video was if he was really faking it, or was his brain that fried from sitting under the sun trying to get pitted every day. As it turns out, he was faking, but that doesn’t make the video any less entertaining.
