Melania Trump is the first Catholic First Lady since Jackie Kennedy. Marla would have also held that title if she had still been married to Trump, but her beliefs are a bit more complicated. Though she’s a Baptist, she “keeps Shabbat, eats kosher, and studies Kabbalah.” She claims that Kabbalah has helped her clear herself of the anger she accumulated after the divorce. “As I started looking deeper at myself, I realized there were still places inside where I held anger or had blame. [Kabbalah] helped me learn to take responsibility for my own choices and no longer be the victim.”
