Mama June rose to fame after her daughter Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson appeared on TLC’s Toddlers & Tiaras. The pair were so captivating that TLC gave them their own spin-off series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. If the show was known for anything, it wasn’t healthy eating habits.

Mama June was famously accused of child abuse when Alana was fed “Go Go Juice,” a mix of Red Bull and Mountain Dew, during an episode of Toddlers & Tiaras. Things got worse years later when Mama June’s boyfriend was found to be a convicted child molester. TLC promptly canceled the spin-off series, but June was intent on reinventing herself.
