He also supports the non-profit groups After-School All-Stars, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Children’s Defense Fund, and ONEXONE. In 2016, he donated $2.5 million to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. In addition to being a star athlete, he is also a shrewd businessman and was the highest-paid player in the league in 2016.
