These Stars Should Run For President… And Some Say They Might!
Tim McGraw Could Be Our First Singing President
Country singer Tim McGraw has had political aspirations for quite some time. Back in 2004, he told Time magazine: “I want to run for the Senate from Tennessee. Not now, but when I’m 50.” He turns 51 in 2018, so time is ticking if he really wants to put his hat in the ring. He’s also expressed his desire to become governor. He told Esquire: “I think it’s something I’d do well. I just think as governor of the state, there would be a lot more opportunities to make some decisions and change some things.” President Clinton played the saxophone, so maybe McGraw would be the first singing president?
