Conan O’Brien Has The Smarts To Back Him Up

Late-night talk show host Conan O’Brien is a pretty smart cookie. He was the valedictorian of his high school and graduated from Harvard University after majoring in history and literature. His senior thesis? “The ‘Old Child’ in Faulkner and O’Connor,” which argued that “the New South’s emerging identity is manifested in the literature of William Faulkner and Flannery O’Connor via the motif of children that age too quickly.” O’Brien has been entertaining audiences for years and is well versed on what’s happening in our country. The only problem is that he may joke just a tad too much in the Oval Office.
