Weeks Earlier Oprah Denied Having Any Interest In A Presidential Bid

Three weeks earlier during an interview with InStyle magazine, Winfrey explained that running for President wasn’t something she was wanted to do. She explained: “I’ve always felt very secure and confident with myself in knowing what I could do and what I could not. And so it’s not something that interests me. I don’t have the DNA for it.” Winfrey is most known for hosting The Oprah Winfrey Show from 1986 to 2011. She has also appeared in several films, written numerous books, launched her own television network, and is considered one of the world’s most powerful women.
