The reality television show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica followed the married life of the two pop stars Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson. Although it’s not shocking to learn that Lachey had an issue with the show considering the content, it’s not about what you might think. Although the show poorly portrays his new wife Jessica as a bit of a bimbo, he notes that his real problem with the show was how invasive it was. They were constantly being followed by camera crews which destroyed their relationship. The two were divorced six months after the show ended.
