Chelsea Handler – Chelsea Lately

It’s no surprise why Chelsea Handler was given the opportunity to host her own late-night talk show. Her show Chelsea Lately debted on the E! network in 2007. Being on cable allowed her more freedom to say what she wanted more so than network television. However, it came with a price. Being on E! meant that she had to cover aspects of popular culture that she really didn’t enjoy doing. It’s said that she eventually began to resent E! because it was influencing her integrity and the topics on her show. After one last three-year contract, the show ended in 2014.
