In a true twist of fate, Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul, will forever be linked to ‘The King’ of Rock and Roll. Aretha Franklin passed away on August 16, 2018, the same day as Elvis Presley, who passed in 1977.

The connection between the two doesn’t stop there. Aretha was born in Memphis, Tennessee, which is the same city that Elvis died in when he passed in his Graceland home, where he is still buried.
