Welsh actor Bernard Fox died on December 14, 2016, in Los Angeles. He was 89 years old, and the cause of death was heart failure.
The beloved actor, who came from a family of thespians, was famous for many of his roles: Dr. Bombay in Bewitched, Captain Winston Havlock in The Mummy, Colonel Crittendon in Hogan’s Heroes, and Archibald Gracie IV in Titanic. He also had appearances in M*A*S*H, What’s Happening!!, and I Dream of Jeannie. He had a cameo as Dr. Jinga-Janga, a spoof of Dr. Bombay’s character, in a 1989 episode of Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure.
Fox leaves behind his wife Jacqueline and their daughter.
