Just two weeks before his death at the age of 76, Stephen Hawking predicted how the world would end and documented his theory. Named the “multiverse” theory, Hawking argued that there are multiple universes other than our own. He theorized that it would be in our best interest to tap into those other universes and find a future livable option for humans.

Hawking previously predicted that the earth would turn into a giant ball of fire, sometime before the year 2600. His final theory is that the stars will run out of energy, and the earth and our universe will be left in darkness, to die.
