Aside from winning countless awards and recognitions throughout his career, there are now numerous buildings around the world that bear Hawking’s name. Some of these include the Stephen W. Hawking’s Science Museum in San Salvador, El Salvador, The Stephen Hawking Building in Cambridge, and the Stephen Hawking Centre at the Perimeter Institute in Canada.

There is also the mechanical “Chronophage” (time-eating) Corpus-Clock at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. It was unveiled by Hawking in September 2008.
