Throughout his life, Stephen Hawking was featured on numerous television shows. In 1988, he appeared with Arthur C. Clarke and Carl Sagan who were interviewed in God, the Universe and Everything Else. At the release party for A Brief History of Time, Hawking met the actor who played Spock on Star Trek: The Next Generation and later played a holographic simulation of himself on an episode of the show.

His synthesizer voice recorded for the Pink Floyd song “Keep Talking” as well as for an episode of The Simpsons. Hawking also used his fame to advertise products such as his wheelchair, Egg Banking, Specsavers, and more. His final television appearance was on Neil deGrasse Tyson’s show Star Talk.
