He’s a Big Fan of Saving (and Eating) American Bison

Ted owns several ranches in the United States, and many focus on sustainability and ecotourism. The media mogul has been instrumental in rebuilding and caring for America’s bison herd. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t tasty. In 2002, he co-founded Ted’s Montana Grill, which also works to stop the extinction of the American bison.

The restaurant’s website declares, “We’ve re-introduced bison to America’s table and in doing so created a market for this protein-rich, nutrient-dense meat. Bison is the cornerstone of our menu and we are proud to serve more bison than any other restaurant in the world.”
