Despite her incarceration, Martha Stewart’s status as a household name remained constant. Immediately following her release from prison, Stewart returned to hosting daytime television with The Martha Stewart Show and even hosted an adapted version of The Apprentice, called The Apprentice: Martha Stewart which only aired for one season. Still, Stewart continued to capitalize on her brand by releasing more cookbooks, appearing as a regular contributor on NBC’s Today show, and she even worked with KB Homes to launch a line of houses inspired by her own homes. The Martha Stewart Show later went on to earn six nominations at the 2006 Daytime Emmy Awards.
