Nicolas Cage wasn’t born to famous parents, but he certainly has some famous family members — his uncle is legendary film director Francis Ford Coppola. Cage reportedly changed his last name to avoid any nepotism that might occur because of it.

Nicolas has gone on to have his own children, two sons Weston and Kal-El. Weston is also now a father, making Nicolas a grandfather. Weston was previously a working musician in a black metal band but is now reportedly chasing his own acting career and following in his father’s footsteps. Kal-El is named after Superman and is still just a kid, but we are sure to see more from him when he grows up.
