San Francisco Dedicates the Rainbow Tunnel To Robin Williams
Residents and visitors to the Bay Area will remember the iconic rainbow tunnel that connects the Golden Gate Bridge to Marine County, where Williams lived. A rainbow is painted on either side of the tunnel, often triggering a smile and making the area feel like home.
After news spread of the loss of Williams, the city he loved so much knew exactly what to do. Residents and local government passed legislation to name the tunnel in Robin Williams’ honor.
