To the Residents of Tiburon, He Was a Sweet Guy and a Great Neighbor

Located just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, is the town of Tiburon where Robin Williams lived for most of his life. The small town mostly surrounded by water has a tight-knit community and Williams would often be seen supporting local businesses and talking to neighbors.

Many residents of Tiburon described him as kind, humble, and very funny. Whether he was out for a cup of coffee or tucking away in a Thai restaurant, Williams was kind to everyone he interacted with and didn’t want any special attention or treatment due to his celebrity status.

The city paid tribute to Williams’ life in the best way possible.
