Laird Met His Dad, Once

In an interview with The Off Camera Show, Laird discussed meeting his biological father for the first time. He was in his early twenties when he tracked down his father and met with him for breakfast. Laird admits the two share similarities in appearance, but not much more than that.

“We kind of looked alike. Maybe I had his temper, or adverse effect of alcohol, or whatever it was. But we didn’t really have this thing. And I was like, ‘I’m good.’ And so after that meeting, I really never pursued seeing him, and he never pursued seeing me.” Laird also said he resented his father for never having sought him out before.
