Gabrielle And Laird Nearly Divorced

The couple that so many people look at in admiration opened up about the time that they were on the brink of divorce. Laird admitted that he was drinking two bottles of wine a night, on top of his busy schedule, and it began to negatively affect his marriage to Gabby. The couple referred to him as “Larry” when he would be drunk around the house, which Gabby says is funny now, but wasn’t at the time.

In 2018, Laird told Graham Bensinger, “The thing with Gabby had more to do with me not being okay than it did with me not being okay for her. It’s hard to be with somebody who doesn’t want to be with themselves.” Laird pulled himself out of his destructive wine habit and the couple was able to repair their relationship.
