Rachael Ray Almost Set Things Up In Flame

It takes time to have things done right. That is especially true when you’re dealing with many crew people on set. So when Rachael Ray filmed the pilot to 30 Minute Meals, Emeril’s kitchen almost went up in flames.

Ray shot the pilot on the set of Emeril Live. She went to put some oil on the skillet but didn’t realize they already preheated it for her. Once the oil hit the pot, flames burst into the air like a scene from a movie. Emeril’s kitchen ended up safe, but it was a close call.
