Beyoncé has done it again. How she continues to be one of the most stunningly flawless beings on the planet is a mystery we have long since given up trying to figure out, so we have learned to accept that Queen Bee’s reign is eternal. How is it fair for anyone to look that good, especially when pregnant with twins?
The singer stripped down to share her baby bump in all of its glory with all us lesser mortals. Looking like some sort of woodland goddess, she bared it all to remind us that yes, perfect exists, and its name is Beyoncé.
The 35-year-old singer may be carrying twins, but she sure doesn’t look like it. Some may assume that her stretch marks were photoshopped out of the pictures, while her many adoring fans know that her unblemished skin is just a sign that Beyoncé has achieved the secret of immortality. What else can explain the fact that she looks a decade younger than she really is? Is it possible for the Grammy winner to even take a bad photo?
People on the internet lost their minds when Beyoncé announced she and her husband, Jay Z, were expecting twins. The couple has a five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, who is about to become a big sister to not one, but two little bundles of joy.
The singer announced her pregnancy on Instagram by sharing an image of herself cradling her stomach while wearing nothing but a light green veil and some revealing lingerie. The post quickly became the most liked photo on social media, achieving a record-breaking 6.5 million “likes” in just eight hours, a feat almost as impressive as her 20 Grammy awards.
The internationally-acclaimed recording artist captioned the image, saying, “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters.”
Not long after the announcement, Beyoncé posted a series of revealing, but tasteful photographs to her website. The photos were taken by photographer Awol Erizku.
Us Weekly reports that the couple is thrilled to be welcoming two new additions to the family, revealing that a source shared Jay Z and Beyoncé are “ecstatic.”
“They are ecstatic. They have been trying for a long time and now to be blessed with twins, they are so over the moon. It’s even better than they wished for.”
While many people may expect the mother of a five-year-old who is also carrying twins to take it easy, Beyoncé isn’t slowing down. She has herself scheduled for a busy year leading up to the birth of her twins. The singer is performing at the 2017 Grammy Awards where she is nominated in an astonishing nine categories, most notably Album of the Year for her visual album, Lemonade.
She will no doubt be adding more awards to her already impressive 20 Grammy wins. But Beyoncé is not stopping there. She is also headlining the popular music festival, Coachella, in April.
