After Scandal, Lori Loughlin’s Daughter Could Get Expelled From USC
On the morning of March 12, 2019, dozens of folks including celebrities Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin were involved in a $25 million college admissions cheating scandal. The latter got released on a $1 million bond on March 13, but now there are some issues with her daughter Olivia Jade.
Jade attends the University of Southern California or better known as USC. Anyone who gained admission to the private university from the scandal is facing expulsion. The university will "conduct a case-by-case review" for anyone there now and graduates who might be tied to this situation. USC will make "informed, appropriate decisions once those reviews have been completed.” The shocking news led to Sephora dropping Jade from their partnership. "After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately," Sephora said.
Getting expelled from college certainly seems like the worst, but maybe not for Jade. In a video she released after getting into the school, Jade said some things that don't help her case. She said that she wasn't looking forward to school and that she cared for the partying the most. “I don't really care about school, as you guys know,” she said in the video.
In an interview with Zach Sang Show, Jade also revealed that she only went to the university “mostly because my parents really wanted me to go.”
